Tigers - The challenge is that the latest reports about Tigers around the world are DIRE.
They estimate that since the 1995 reports that the population has seen a 40% decrease over the entire range of tiger habitat. The largest decreases are in the areas that Anjana is working in North - Central India. The poaching is getting out of hand- the first tiger park in India has reported that they have seen a complete tiger population in their park WIPED OUT by poaching. It makes no sense that humans think they have a right to cause other species to go extinct for a SHORT-TERM use - meds or skins or money…?

We need to do something…even if it's just to raise awareness that we may in the next 10 years loose the tigers in the wild. There are more tigers in the US then there are wild tigers in the wild! Zoos, private shows, rescue places, private landowners…etc.
